Subject: remember pets at samhain

i went home this past weekend, and when i arrived, i was met with the
sad news that our dog of 14 yrs had ben hit by a car....we had her in
the hospital, and the vet called sat morning to tell us she didn't
make it....we buried her behind the garden with her fave toys, a
blanket, and some carrots (she like to dig up her own carrots):)
  this samhain, i plan to remember my sally-dog, and i wanted to
encourage others to remember loved animals as well as people that have
died in the past year.....i think thatit's important to feel that
mourning a pet is as valid as mourning any other family member....it
certainly hurts as much...
