Ensor had not yet had time to fit it all together securely and insert Orac into his proper body, ready to be unleased upon the Federation. I've just been interviewed by the BBC and I'm trying to figure out whether I made a total idiot of myself or not. They seemed very nice people and having seen the programmes they did on Dr Who and Prisoner fans, they really do seem to be trying to treat fandom seriously. On the other hand, I've discovered that I can dry up totally on some topics whilst waxing fluent on other. Let's hope they're kind in the editing. They're interviewing 5 fans in all, most of whom are past or present members of this list. Should anyone watch the programme and wonder if I'm left-handed, I'm not, I just can't use my right arm at the moment. And my desk hasn't been this tidy in years! And I actually used my husband's computer anyway because it gave a better camera angle. They say it will go out about three weeks from now. Blake's 7 is the last of the run after X-files, Thunderbirds and Star Trek. It's on BBC 2 on Fridays, after Star Trek. They're now off to interview the Oxford contingent - I wonder how well their nerves will survive the experience. Volvos- slow? try again. I picked up a speeding ticket at Eastbourne in my 240 estate. He`s not driving one now, *IF* he had one in the first place (are you sure he wasn`t posing besides Sheelagh`s machine?). I would not have thought a Ka would have been practical for continued long distance motorway driving (which an actor on tour would need). Ka`s are really ugly things, they don`t even look like a car. They only thing they`re good for is as a hood ornament for a volvo. Personally, I think the designer needs shooting. The reason why the Ka is mounted on the front of the Volvo or even on a bumper, is that it's main role is a shuttle craft as Teleport still isn't an option with Volvo's. Can't help there - we've only seen up to about there. She doesn't really seem the sort to change official hairstyle. Off-duty - that's a very different matter. But we have yet to see her with her hair down, unfortunately. I think it's about time someone woke her in the middle of the night when she was dressed in very little. Louise thinks I'm barking because I always fall about laughing when "Tracy Scoggins" comes on the screen during the title sequence. With that sort of name, you do rather expect a decent Lancashire accent. I really hope that's her real name, because it's not the sort of name a glamorous actress should choose. It's so easy in a fast'n'furious programme like that to just leave in a quarter-second here and there and make the person talking look like a complete idiot (not trying to make you paranoid or anything!). But they were excellent. Honestly - series like this that treat "us" as normal people, new high-budget SF series - who is our Man at the Top? We must have an SF mole who just got promoted. Or maybe they finally cottoned on - SF is valid entertainment, and can even earn a few quid.
