If newsletters count as zines, then I think this is the B7 zine with the most issues ever (though the all-fiction zine with the most issues is Chronicles). All of you who have enjoyed Paul Darrow's performances in "Guards! Guards!" should have a look at this if you haven't already. The front cover has a very amusing color photo of Paul reading the book with the dragon Errol looking over his shoulder. On the back is Paul as Vimes with another, smaller dragon. Inside are various people's reviews of the play and the recent cons. And in the back-- oh joy!-- is an ad for the forthcoming Avon #14, which will be a story by Judith Seaman! She is one of my very favorite B7 fan writers, so I'm thrilled to know that she is still writing. According to the info on the first page of the newsletter, e-mail addresses for the club are: annbown@aol.com and AvonPDS@aol.com , and there is a website at: http://members.aol.com/avonpds Sarah T. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 19 Jun 1998 02:27:26 EDT From: Bizarro7@aol.com To: space-city@world.std.com, Blakes7@lysator.liu.se Subject: [B7L] Fwd: MBB: Major Site Updates Message-ID: <74a1e366.358a04cf@aol.com> Content-type: multipart/mixed; boundary="part0_898237646_boundary" This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --part0_898237646_boundary Content-ID: <0_898237646@inet_out.mail.aol.com.1> Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII I've made MAJOR updates to the Ashton Press website over the last couple of weeks. These are ongoing still, though, so bookmark the page and come back for a visit! Recently, I've: 1) Moved Southern Seven 11 and 12 to their own page. Now that both issues are in print, I'm taking submissions for the next one. You won't want to miss it! It's going to contain the last book of the Log of the Hellhound! 2) Updated the main Southern Seven page to contain details about each issue (1-12) as well as added a link to an author index. I also want to feature reviews of the various issues. If you've written a review anytime in the past and would allow me to publish it on my page, please contact me at ashton7@aol.com. THere is also a guest book on this page where you can leave your comments about the zines and the site. 3) Updated the Blakes 7 pictures page. I'm going to be adding new pictures over the next few days, as well. I added one link to another B7 site that was sent to me. I know someone else also wanted their link added but I can't find their e-mail. If it was you, contact me! 4) Added an entire site for Hellhound. This site has a timeline, a story index, artwork, reviews, cartoons and much more. We're going to be adding text excerpts, the Hellhound Shopping Club, a discography and a character cross reference, as well. If you've written any reviews of the Hellhound stories and would be willing to have them appear on my site, please contact me at ashton7@aol.com. 5) I'm working on adding a new section which will contain links to a lot of the older stories Leah and I wrote over the years. Right now, it will contain only Blakes 7 stories and one Beauty & the Beast story. I'm hoping to have this site up and live tonight or tomorrow. I'll be adding stories to it as I get them scanned in and formatted. 6) For the Highlander fans, I've finally uploaded the rest of my Syndicon 1997 pictures and updated the Syndicon page. This time there are some drop dead gorgeous pictures of Peter Wingfield (the rest of the cast look nice, too...). If you've got a page with Syndicon pictures that I can link to, please let me know. I'd love to add a link to your site. 7) I've made some changes to the main page, including a new guest book. Please stop by and sign it so I'll know you were there! We'd love to hear any comments you might have about our zines, artwork, stories, or website! I changed the cartoon a couple of weeks ago... stop by and see Leah's cartoon "Beatings, Brother" which won the art show prize at MediaWest this year for "Best Humor."
