The book is extremely useful to all levels of practioners from the beginner just getting into the Art, to the skilled mage who has been practicing for many years. I find it particularly useful as I am a Chaos magician and as such, tend to blend different types of symbolism into my rituals. I wholeheartedly recommend it. === From: Fir@f235.n109.z1.fidonet.org (Fir) Subject: Re: The Magician's Companion: Of any worth? I've got it on my shelf as a reference manual but I rarely crack it open, in part because in typical Llewellyn style, there's no index. Since most of it is probably copied from other sources, it's probably as reliable as the sources it's copied from. One friend who's speciality is Hinduism thought the Hindu sections had many inaccuracies.
