Bringing you the latest in occult and mystical information from the front lines of the Internet magical and spiritual communities, we've set up the OMNET-L elist to receive your data and to send forth a polished compendium mirror. Supported by the Occult and Mysticism Network (OMNet), and a feed-mechanism for the _MaGI's Guide to the Internet_ (MaGI), the OMiNous will be shipped out to all subscribers of OMNET-L and to many pertinent Internet forums on a monthly basis. For more information on OMNet, write tyagi@houseofkaos.abyss.com (tyagi/ss). Send queries regarding this publication to listserv@nosferatu.cas.usf.edu (include the text "INFO OMNET-L" in the body of your message). Nemeton-L Listserv Date: 16 Dec 1994 01:52:18 GMT This is a mailing list for Druids and other Celtic Pagans and their friends. It is a place for research, reflection, debate and discussion. Because there are many places for the discussion of Wicca and shamanism on the net, they aren't normally on topic here. Our focus is on plumbing the depths of Celtic Pagan religions, folklore, mythology and symbolism, with pause for laughter over puns and poetic mead. If references are requested or points contested, try not to take offense, but instead engage with us in learned debate as did the loremasters of the early Celts before us. By seeking high standards, we can build a durable foundation for future generations of Celtic Pagans. Taoist Elist Date: 17 Dec 1994 12:53:43 -0800 There is a somewhat primitive mailing list that has been set up for folks interested in Taoism. This list includes _lots_ of Pagan/Occult/Magic/etc boards. The Mysteria list has been posted on the Pagan area on CI$ a few times but by going to the source you can get the latest version. Networking Data: Occult Net Resources V1.02 Date: 29 Dec 1994 06:02:55 GMT After seeing the frequent requests for sites with occult related material I have put together a list. I will try to remember to post it from time to time. It seems like about once a week would be fitting looking at all the postings asking for sites. Buddhist BBS's: Cyber-Sanghas Date: 7 Jan 1995 The recent publication of Tricycle Magazine included a listing of three Buddhist Bulletin Boards: The Well, Mount kalais, and Tiger Team. The following post explains the nature of some of these boards written by the Information Manager of Tiger Team Buddhist Information Network. The Tiger Team memberships start at $35/year for 90 minutes. Our $75 memberships include a t-shirt, which raises the cost. Also, not only do Tiger Team members receive access to the file library (10,000 files compared to Mt. Kalais' 70 files), which includes every Buddhist file online anywhere, but they also receive a GUI (graphical user interface), Usenet newsgroups (like this one), voice technical support, and _TigerTail,_ our quarterly newsletter. And starting in January members will receive a User Guidebook. I found the Mt. Kalais BBS to be refreshing, with a unique atmosphere and some original files. As a new BBS I also found it a shallow in depth and expensive considering the available services. A Satanic order dedicated to the advancement of the human mind, body and spirit via magick, philosophy and knowledge. We are a New Zealand organization run by three. The three of us each have equal "rank" and each have our own specialty. Other members must complete and pass various courses to ensure a high standard of membership for our elitest group. 5 Main courses exist currently which train, teach and help the new initate, but more importantly we use as a means to discover the true nature of applicants. Modules are availible for members which cover a large range of subjects, including Satanic Witchcraft, Chaos Magick and other various topics. Although not affiliated with CoS we are pro CoS philosophy in that we do not worship or believe any Satan etc. We however want to STRESS that we are not anti any Satanic group, and will not argue or fight any other Satanic group.
