On the other hand, while it has some beautiful language in it, historians disagree about its authenticity. There is evidence that much of the most impressive stuff would be more accurately described as Carmichael's own work, albeit inspired by his research. So, in short, I second the recommendation, but it's not very useful for historical research. Great for ritual, though. I especially like the kindling prayer... Peace, Amanda
